Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Schild's asset management system

Most assets can be assigned to personnel for a duration. For assets that support assignments, personnel can check out and return their assigned assets through custodies—documented handoffs to personnel and back.
All assets have an associated office and custody history. You can view the current custody by navigating to the asset in administration. There you'll find the user and the check-out time. If there is no current custody and the asset is not lost, it's in the office's custody.
Yes. Administrators can manually update asset condition with supporting photos. Personnel can report asset condition during custody transfers, and during ops.
Admins create asset assignments that generate custody transfer codes. Personnel then use the codes to check out and return their assigned assets.

Maintenance can be scheduled in advance by recording a future maintenance. Find the asset in administration and add a future maintenance period. Upcoming and active maintenance can be monitored in "Assets".

Retrospective maintenance can also be added. The process is the same-find the asset, and record the maintenance.
