Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Schild's operations

Yes. Schild has dedicated engagements built-in. Most operations can be part of red, purple, or blue team engagements.
Personnel set their own availability through their profiles. When creating operations, you can manually assign personnel or use automated assignments. Schild checks availability, qualifications, and office, then randomly selects eligible candidates to meet your target. Assignments continue automatically until the operation is fully staffed. At any time you can add or remove assignments up until fifteen minutes before the scheduled start.
No. Automatic assignment of personnel-salaried or hourly-is capped at 40 hours a week. Any time beyond that must be manually assigned.
Operation scheduling is designed to give you control and flexibility. If your agreements entail regular protection over a time period, recur operations. You can always cancel in advance as needs evolve.
They have to communicate it to an administrator at least fifteen minutes before the scheduled start to fill the slot with someone else. Personnel cannot decline assignments after accepting them.

Each operation includes all the details necessary to independently complete assignments: site locations with maps, tasks or orders to complete, required equipment, and any other special requirements. Personnel can view all operation details before and during.

Some extra coordination might be required in advance like using a specified company vehicle, or company owned firearm, but it shouldn't be problematic.

In order to protect personnel Schild blocks visibility to some data, regardless of permissions and clearance, until a time requirement is met. Some things can be monitored in real-time, though, like the statuses of personnel transporting assets.
Every completed assignment generates a unique report. A lockup with two personnel assigned will give you two lockup reports. Personnel can also report incidents and submit Special Incident reports-extraordinary incidents possibly involving backup, law enforcement, or emergency services.
